1st China Microsatellite Symposium is our first step in the journey of space exploration
The First Satellite Symposium will be held in Xi’an, China on November 18th. This is a time where experts in the field will gather from all over the world in order to share ideas and inspiration with the younger generation. It will also mark the end of the first CubeSat competition where honors and grants will be awarded. We are going to attend the conference in order to network and make connections with schools and experts who may be interested in collaboration. In particular, making connections with companies that produce CubeSat components would be extremely useful in terms of reducing costs and finding parts for building the nanosatellite. Connections with schools would provide us with support through their recommendations and advice. Hopefully, we could also find support from others in the form of financial aid. Networking isn’t the only goal we have for this trip. We will also be collecting information regarding next year’s CubeSat competition for a free launch. Winning this competition would be a huge boon for us and our project.
